The new Matching feature automatically finds and connects duplicate or related records across your system.

This feature helps keep your data cleaner and more accurate by recognizing when two records actually represent the same thing, for example, the same product listed under different names or with slightly different descriptions.

The new Matching Entity also introduces an automated way to detect and manage duplicates across both staging and master records.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Customizable matching rules – You can define your own criteria for how the system finds similar records (exact or partial matches).
  • Automatic background processing – The system continuously scans data and updates matches automatically when records or rules change.
  • Smart linking – Supports both one-way (unidirectional) and two-way (bidirectional) links between related records.
  • Status management – You can review and update the status of found matches. Records marked as “not found” stay visible in the right sidebar for easy reference, even if their similarity score drops later.
