We’re excited to announce a major update to our Product Information Management (PIM) module — the ability to create Listings for your products. This feature helps you tailor how products appear across different sales channels, such as Amazon, eBay, or your own online store.
Why Listings Matter
Different marketplaces often have unique requirements for product data — such as specific titles, descriptions, category structures, or required attributes. Managing all of this from a single product view is limiting. With the new Listings feature, you can create customized versions of a product for each sales channel, ensuring full compliance and improved marketplace performance.
What's New
Create Listings per Channel
You can now create Listings directly from any product record. A Listing contains its own title, description (HTML or plain text), status (Draft, Active, Inactive, or Error), and is linked to a specific channel and classification.
A new "Listings" panel is available within each product. Simply click the “+” button to open a modal where you can enter these values and view read-only fields inherited from the base product.
Automatically Copy Values with Listing Rules
To make listing creation even easier, we’ve introduced Listing Rules. These rules help automatically populate certain listing attributes by copying values from the corresponding product fields.
Each rule defines a source field on the product and a target field on the listing. When a listing is created and a matching rule exists, the value is pre-filled accordingly—but you can still change it manually afterward.
For example, if your product has a “Color” value of “Blue” and a channel expects that value under the field “Shade,” the rule can map and transfer it automatically.
Attach Files & Components
Listings are fully equipped to carry their own components (such as accessories or parts) and files like channel-specific images or documents.
Smart Classification Selection
The classification dropdown in the listing form is automatically filtered based on the channel you select first. This ensures users only see valid options relevant to the selected marketplace, reducing errors and speeding up the setup.
Business Benefits
With Listings, you can now tailor product data per channel without duplicating your core product records. Attribute mapping rules save time and reduce manual effort, especially when preparing large catalogs for export. The result is faster onboarding to new marketplaces, more accurate data, and a streamlined workflow across teams.
How to Get Started
To try it out, go to any product in the PIM module and open the new Listings panel. Click the “+” button to create a listing, select your channel and classification, and either fill in or auto-populate your listing data.
